NYC: Israel Chamber Project 10th Anniversary

March 18, 2018 @ 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

IsraeliChamberProject

The Israeli Chamber Project has made a name for itself with its imaginative programming, and in its return to BPAC presents four masterworks, each with its own distinct style, and taken together comprise a fascinating and unique evening of music.

Schumann’s Piano Quintet captures both the intimacy as well as the directness of the chamber music medium and is one of his most recognizable works. These are joined by the world premiere of a new work by award-winning composer, Gilad Cohen, in his second commission for the ensemble.

Stravinsky: Scenes from Petrushka (arranged by Yuval Shapiro. ICP Commission).

GUY ESHED, flute; TIBI CZIGER, Clarinet; DANIEL BARD, violin; CARMIT ZORI, violin; DIMITRI MURRATH, viola; MICHAEL KORMAN, cello; SIVAN MAGEN, harp; ASSAFF WEISMAN, piano
